This week in LH1 I learned about simple sentences and gave the ago so I am proud of that. I am also proud that I got some reading this week because I never got any done last week because I never put my mind to it and forgot about it so this week I was thinking in my head I NEED TO GET SOME READING DONE. I'm not proud that I didn't get any of my slide tasks done so next week I'm going to focus on getting 2 slides done. I'm also not proud that I haven't finished my writing yet so I'm going to work on that next week.

Collaborative work

This is my collaborative piece of art that I did with another person in my class, but I didn't know who it was because the teachers chose who our buddies were. We were in different rooms where our teachers put up different pieces of art up on the tvs. We didn't know what the other persons piece of art was, and we had to explain to them in comments what our piece of art is like without showing it to them, then we had to message how we should incorporate each others pictures. This is what our collaborative piece of art is I hope you like it. My buddies name was Jarred.

We were learning about working with a buddie in a different room. This would help us to work with other people in a different area of New Zealand.

I found it easy to, incorporate the two pieces of art together.

I found it hard not being able to talk to the other person about the pieces of art.
I really enjoyed, how the end product turned out.

Next time I need to improve my side of the art because I didn't really know what to do, I need a better understanding for next time.

About Me

My Sick Brother

Mitchell Pasco was working two jobs and saving to buy a house when he was diagnosed with an extremely rare disease that has attacked his main heart artery. He's the fourth New Zealander to be diagnosed with the disease.

My older brother says he still feels "normal", despite being diagnosed with a rare and deadly auto-immune disease that nearly sent him into cardiac arrest.

In September Mitchell Pasco​,19, reluctantly agreed to see a doctor about strange bruises, chest pains and shortness of breath. Within hours he was in hospital fighting for his life.

Takayasu Arteritis is a disease my older brother Mitchell has with heart failure. It is a disease that if you were to get it the people that would get it would be Asian woman. My older brother is only 19 and has to have surgery on his heart because if he goes out and his heart stops he could die and at any moment. The reason he has to get surgery is so that he can get this thing in his heart that re-valve his heart back to beat again. If he goes to get this surgery he will have to get flown to Auckland as they would not be able to do the procedure in Christchurch. My brother said "I hated hospital. I felt like I was in jail because I couldn't leave the ward."  My brother had to have Chemotherapy because of the heart failure it has made him lose hair and made his face more chubby. Takayasu Arteritis is a rare form of vasculitis disease involving inflammation in the walls of the largest arteries in the body: the aorta and its main branches. The disease results from an attack by the body's own immune system, causing inflammation in the walls of arteries.

Pedagogy

I have found this sentence off of the web. "Pedagogy means the method and practice of teaching as an academic subject."

To me that means the way that teachers teach me.

Hi my name is Charlize and I am 11 years old.
I was born in Christchurch and was in both of the big Earthquakes.I live with my Mum, my sister and my two dogs.I go to Gisborne Intermediate School.
I like going to the Gisborne library and to read books there for hours. I love swimming and always have. My goal is to get better at swimming although I am already amazing. In my alone time at my house I like to play with my dogs and jump on my Trampoline.
I am looking forward to going to the Snow in Term three because I have never seen snow before or ever skied or snowboarded.
